On this #GivingTuesday, global day of giving, celebrate by sharing the gift of peace.
Stop, Breathe & Think was born out of a non-profit called Tools for Peace, whose mission is to inspire kindness and compassion in everyday life.
Through their friendly and accessible mindfulness curriculum, Tools for Peace works with inner city youth to promote the skills of mindfulness and meditation to support social and emotional intelligence as well as academic and professional success.
“Many of the teens we work with come from difficult and disadvantaged backgrounds. Some will be the first in their family to attend college and face tremendous pressure to succeed. The mindfulness practices students learn from Tools for Peace school programs and camps help them proactively manage stress and stay focused on their goals. With these tools our teens are more resilient and ready to tackle the challenges in their lives with kindness and compassion.”
—Loren Witcher, Tools for Peace Program Director
“I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for Tools for Peace. I’ve learned how to take the instances in my day-to-day life that I used to see as negative, and turn them around to be positive… Those little tools that I’ve learned here—the meditation, the mindfulness exercises—have helped me so much to get through stressful situations and to calm myself down.” – Camper, 10th Grade
Part of our DNA at Stop, Breathe & Think is to stick to our mission of bringing greater wellbeing to all—that’s why we share 10% of our net revenue with Tools For Peace.
Every purchase you make through Stop, Breathe & Think supports this mission, so the peace of mind you create for yourself by purchasing our products opens the door for someone else to create it for themselves.
This #GivingTuesday you can turn one gift into two by:

- Shopping on Amazon Smile. Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase to Tools for Peace when you select them as your charity of choice.
“I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for Tools for Peace. I’ve learned how to take the instances in my day-to-day life that I used to see as negative, and turn them around to be positive. By far, Tools for Peace has been the most significant thing I’ve ever been a part of. My life is completely different now, and there is no telling how far I’ll be able to take it. It’s all because of what I’ve learned at camp. Thank you Tools for Peace for changing my life.” – James, 16, Summer Teen Camp Peer Mentor
“I have learned how to find and create peace within myself, even if there might be chaos surrounding me. I now know the importance of not making judgments or being hateful because you never know what someone might be going through.” – Student, 8th Grade
“One of my favorite parts of camp was being able to completely feel everything I feel and approach my emotions with curiosity. I’ve never been so open to cry, laugh, smile, or share as I am when I’m here.” – Camper, 10th Grade
“The most important thing I’ve learned is compassion and empathy for others. I learned that it is possible to not feel alone in the world.” – Camper, 12th Grade
“I learned to stop, breathe, and think. Due to this, I can be more calm. I’m able to make wiser choices in my life.” – Camper, 11th Grade
